I am a truck driver. Once I got them, I opened them fluffy according to the instructions and let them sit for about a day. I had a memory foam pillow with one end tall and the other end sort which I like but when I moved positions in the the night I have to flip it around to make it comfortable. This pillow is lower in the middle, and tall on both sides so that I don’t have to move the pillow at all when I sleep to get the correct thickness for my neck and shoulders. My husband has been suffering from neck and back pain for months. Don’t be surprised when you receive a box much smaller than a pillow. It comes rolled up and vacuum sealed. Once you open it there is a slight odor but it dissipates very quickly. Now it says to give it two weeks before you make up your mind on whether you like it or not so that’s what I did. I can tell you though that after one night I woke up without pain in my neck for the first time in two and a half years. I have purchased no less than 10 different types of pillows in the last two years because of herniations in my neck and none of them did what they said they were going to do, until I ordered and received this one. Everything it says it will do it does. It is not a soft fluffy cozy cuddle up to kind of pillow. This is a serious pillow for people who have serious neck pain, shoulder pain, neck tightness, headaches, muscle knots, anything in the neck and shoulder area that gives you pain and or prevents you from sleeping this pillow will help you. It is very firm but at the same time very comfortable. It is oddly shaped in that when you lay your head down your shoulders sort of nestle under the pillow on either side.

I have been using a “chiropractic” tri-core pillow for about a decade. When I started using one, it took years to get adjusted to sleeping on my back. Once I got adjusted to that, I found I needed a pillow that had more space for my head (I have a lot of hair that I wear in a bun at night) that still supported my neck. This pillow has transformed my sleeping! Unlike my other pillow, my head isn’t confined to a small cutout in the middle of my pillow. Therefore it can accommodate all my hair without interrupting my sleep. As a result, I now sleep so much more soundly, comfortably, and without much movement. Yay! My neck and head don’t really move but not because they can’t, it’s because they are supported perfectly and comfortably for optimal sleep. this pillow can be adjusted by taking out the foam piece down the center – to give your head more of an alley way to sleep in. I took that piece out. this pillow has a smaller wedge on one side and a higher wedge on the other, choose according to your body type and preference. It also supports side sleepers comfortably. when I first got this pillow, I didn’t like it because it was hot (and it was summer); but when I started having trouble sleeping again, this time in the winter, I gave it another try and I’m glad I did. So for me, I this will be my pillow from now on. I just have to find a cooling pillow case to help with the summer months.

Purchased a month ago after my massage therapist gave me “homework” to relax my shoulders down and back, away from my ears throughout the day. After a few days of mindful practice, I noticed my shoulders felt scrunched as I tried to fall sleep and upon waking up in the morning. Turned to Amazon for an ergonomic sleep pillow solution, and here we are!
So far I have noticed significant improvement in neck and shoulder stiffness/pain with this contour pillow. This is a great pillow for me. I have been diagnosed cervical radiculopathies. Degeneration of parts of cervical spine and now I’m having difficulty with moving my neck and some cervical headaches.
